We have successfully completed the Training Workshop for 50 young women from Kabare, on Advocacy and Lobbying related to Peace and Security, Social Media Communication, and Political Participation for Young Women, held from April 15th to 16th, 2025, as part of the Wasichana Na Amani project funded by The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation and the UNPBF. This session has equipped them with essential skills and knowledge to actively engage in peacebuilding and advocacy efforts; strengthened their ability to defend their rights and influence decision making processes ; and how to effectively use social media platforms to raise awareness and mobilize their communities around issues of peace and security and understanding the importance of their involvement in political processes and decision-making.
As we conclude the training sessions in Kabare, we invite everyone to stay tuned for what comes next 🥳 ! We are excited to see how these empowered young women will continue to drive initiatives for peace and equality, transforming their communities through their newly acquired skills.
