As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Glad to announce our initiative, “Ponya na Ujenge Upya” (Heal and Rebuild), aimed at supporting survivors of GBV in Goma, North Kivu. This global campaign seeks to raise awareness about the abuses and discrimination faced by women and girls, particularly in conflict and displacement zones.
In Goma, many women and girls have fled armed violence, often arriving in camps without resources or protection. The lack of access to essential support services, including mental health care and justice, exacerbates their vulnerabilities.
Our project is dedicated to helping these survivors rebuild their lives and reclaim their dignity. #PonyaNaUjengeUpya is coorganized with our partners Club Zaida Catalan Pour la Paix et la Sécurité , together we are mobilizing the local community, media, and authorities to unite in the fight against GBV. Through social media campaigns, radio broadcasts, and community engagement, we aim to promote resilience, empowerment, and social cohesion.
Stay turned to discover what is next for the first week of campaign, we will be in Mugunga Camp, in Goma

Join us in our mission to empower women and girls, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
