Exciting news! Our Coordinator, @maroygrace , is participating as a panelist at the upcoming Regional-Cross Border Youth Exchange Dialogue organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) in Bujumbura, Burundi from August 5-8, 2024.
Grace will be speaking on the topic of “Challenges of Gender and Culture in Youth Collaborations in the Great Lakes Region.” This 2-day workshop provides a valuable platform for youth representatives from the Great Lakes Youth Network for Dialogue & Peace to share their experiences, engage in peer-to-peer learning, and foster dialogue around the key issues facing the region’s youth.
As a panelist, Grace will have the opportunity to share Mwanamke Kesho’s perspectives on the gender and cultural barriers that hinder effective youth collaborations across the Great Lakes region. She will also highlight successful strategies and best practices for addressing these challenges and promoting more inclusive and equitable youth-led initiatives.
We look forward to Grace’s impactful panel presentation and the valuable connections she will make with other youth leaders and organizations at the Regional-Cross Border Youth Exchange Dialogue.
